Finalised Front Cover
Personally, I think that my finalized front cover would be successful within the given genre. This is because, my target audience are young teenage girls and, as I found during researching the genre for my reader profile, stereo typically prefer to read something that is more visual. Using this information I made sure that the most space taken up on my front cover would be from images and bold, colourful text in order to entice my audience.

Photography and How It Is Used on Pop Magazine Front Covers
In the majority, if not all, of pop magazines the framing on the main image will never be anything but a mid-shot or medium close-up. This is done so that the audience can easily identify who the model is within the main image and as this audience is a younger age, makes it simpler and more visual.
On the front cover a variety of photographs will be used in order to avoid having too much text in one place. This is so that the front cover does not look boring and become unappealing to the target audience.
From this research, I have decided that I will follow these conventions when creating my own pop magazine. The model I used will be shot at mid-shot with a white background and a variety of other photos will surround the empty surrounding of the image in order to make my magazine as visual as possible.
